Certainly one of the many arguments Beauregard and I have. Used to have? We still argue, of course, but we don't get in the type of fights we used to. Uhm. There was the fight we once had over the bowl, but it feels a bit silly now.
I suppose there was a time she had, um, negotiated with a wizard we'd met to use his tower. I'd been a bit cross with her because I hadn't wanted to send my familiar in with her, I assumed he'd see right through the deception.
In trying to explain my hesitations, I suppose I insulted what she thought was quite a successful effort to convince Yussa to trust us. But to me, back then, I was um. . . fairly terrified of coming into contact with anyone in the old circles I used to run in. He'd asked me a few questions about my training, and I'd become convinced he might know my old teacher or someone else who would be looking for me.
So. . . we had a big argument over it, I think she could not understand my reasons for caution then, thought perhaps I was overly paranoid. And maybe I was, because Yussa has been quite the reliable ally.
