[I realize he probably doesn't know her face because we don't have ID cards yet, so I'll just continue this text conversation.]

So, what did you think of all of that?

It all seems pretty screwed up. I don’t know if those guys really believe what they’re saying, or if it’s all an act, or what.

Hard to say over text, but my guess would be they're clueless.

week 1; friday

[A little later in the day, after the investigations have died down, Caleb is back in the library, looking through a few books in one section or another.]

[rita's walked up beside him. she's wearing her canon outfit with a scarf around her neck.]

I don't suppose you've seen anything weird this morning? Or last night?

That's right. Rita?

[He is also wearing his outfit and a scarf.]

Nothing, this time. You?

week 4; monday

[Let's say they're both on campus leaving from a class or something? He glances over at her and gives her a small smile.]

Um. That was an odd one, right? Why more people here are not dating?

Has that lady seen the kind of people we've got around here? The question isn't why more of us aren't dating, it's why anyone in their right mind would want that.

Hah. Do you really think everyone is so bad?

[This line of conversation he started is making him a little sad, but he's not showing it outwardly exactly, just through emotionshare.]

week 4; saturday

[Well, after trial, Rita can probably find him on his way between Winter Dorm and the SUB.]

[well this sure was a day!! rita's radiating feelings of exhaustion, guilt, grief, and lingering terror after everything that happened. but seeing caleb, she'll break into a jog to catch up with him.]

Hey, I...

... You knew, right? Yamato and Beau must have said something.

[His emotions are just a determined thrum of calm tension. Not peace, but just ready to try and tackle something. Underneath, though, there's a lot of worry and anger.

He will stop to talk to her; no need to jog.]

. . . Only last night. I got a little too cross with Beauregard for not telling me things.

week 5; tuesday

[sometime after class on tuesday, rita's checking out the stalls at the cultural festival! she's got some taiyaki in hand, and wanders over into caleb's vicinity when she sees him.]

Huh, they've actually got some pretty good stuff here.

[He's eating some kind of pastry, and nods enthusiastically.]

It isn't bad, is it? They have a lot that I am actually familiar with.

Yeah. I actually saw some stuff we usually have on Terca Lumireis, too.

[munching on this taiyaki, and...]

I'm aware there could be a variety of reasons for this. I am a little furious all the same.

I don't know how to feel about it, but it's definitely not good.

week 5; sunday

[caleb gets a text sunday morning, sometime before execution!]

Hey, do you have a new extra credit assignment yet?

I do. Mine is a little unsettling. You?

Not really a fan of mine. It's not sinister or anything, but I hate it.

Is yours something you can do right away?

week 6; friday

[At some point, he will likely come by Spring Dorm, so he can try and talk to Rita while he's there.]

. . . Hello. Up for a visitor?

Yeah. Come in.

[she'll get the door for him, then limp over to a couch and sit down, nodding to indicate that he should take a seat, too.

there are four people in this dorm now, it's pretty easy to get privacy, even in the common room.]

week 6; saturday

[He shows up at Spring Dorm later that evening with a big fluffy silver cat in his arms.]
