This is quite a pattern. If you consider that Rupert was a repeat killer, perhaps the repeat killers are not the source of the pattern? Which would indicate, of course, that there was a second killer from winter last week if true. Or perhaps it is randomized between them when there are multiple killers and victims.
Either way, I agree with your theory. With the one caveat that I am unsure whether Caiman was truly a 'sleeper.'
Mollymauk's blood was magic. He could coat a weapon in it, and it would become a sword made from ice.
My immediate thought upon hearing Caiman woke up bloodied in the freezer was that this would be a good way to cover wounds from Mollymauk's weapon.

i asked vichan for an item that'll help us at trial this week and we came up with one i've got it for this week if this is wrong - it'll let us see which piece of evidence is the most relevant to one of the cases in case we get stuck or confused or whatever
I doubted Lucretia about Caiman for the simple reason that Caiman showed me his extra credit assignment, which told him to frame someone for murder. He had it before Sieghart died. After Sieghart's death, I asked to see his phone to confirm it was still there, and it was. Whoever killed Sieghart framed someone from winter.
This isn't ironclad, though. He could have simply not turned it in, thinking that I might check. But he is not exactly a deep thinker, so that level of foresight would surprise me. Lucretia's observation that it would have taken a great deal of strength to kill Sieghart in that way has merit, as it does for this week, too. Mollymauk was a skilled fighter and his head - not easily done, no.
Beauregard still has her ability as well. No disrespect to Crow, but I refuse to walk around this campus with the person who did this to Mollymauk still breathing to lie to me. So we will have to work very hard tomorrow.

vichan told me basically - if we can come up with something, they can make it for us. i came up with two other ideas but i can only have one item at a time. i dont have enough vouchers to buy a second one i dont think but i also came up with something to find a piece of missing evidence and then something we could use to ask a single question of to get a guaranteed answer during a trial
so if anyone ends up with a lot of vouchers we can maybe get those made at some point, too.
k. sounds good i'm gonna bring what i can to the trial too to get our hint if we need it vi-chan said systems that are good will help us be successful consistently, so we're trying to build them up too. i think we've got a lot in our arsenal with the way we're working together.
