[After coloring class, he'll notice the teen also leaving the same class his adult self is just leaving, feeling a little foolish.]

What, you don't think coloring inside the lines is a major life skill? [it's a joke of course, but he follows him out of the classroom with a shrug.] The good thing is that probably meets the whole assignment requirement thing.

[maybe. this school is still weird.]

Maybe. I don't mind spending the time, when it isn't as though there is much else we ought to be doing. But it seems a little like we are being teased.

I kind of got the same feeling. [which he isn't a huge fan of, to be honest.] There's still a lot of stuff under construction, and the dorm heads are supposedly still in meetings which...I dunno, seems a little convenient?

It doesn't add up much, no. If there was any question about this being a real school we somehow got mixed up in, the classes put it to rest, don't they?

week 0; sunday

[Sometime on Sunday, he's sitting outside reading his book. But when he sees Taichi, he'll glance up and say hello.]

[at least caleb is being productive. taichi's busy wandering around to burn off energy now that the sports field is tainted, but when his attention is caught he nods a greeting and approaches.]

Hey. [and with little preamble he has a seat.] Not interested in being inside right now?

[not that he can blame him. they have been locked up a lot in the last few days.]

Better to be out so I can run into others.

[If he wants to talk to other people being inside his dorm isn't going to help with that.]

How are you after everything today?

I guess you've got a point. [a very good point, seeing how he wandered over here.

the question is an uncomfortable though and he seems to hesitate, unsure of which answer he wants to give before he shrugs.]

Frustrated mostly. All of that and we couldn't even do anything to stop it. What was the point?

w3 sunday

[sometime after the dinosaur magic has worn off, taichi will be looking for caleb. it's hard to say where he comes across him because he'll be wandering for some time, but when he does he pauses and gives him a nod of greeting.]

...you back now? [human intelligence there and all?]

[He nods back at him, and please loop him in on the Riku situation too. He hasn't been back to fall dorm.]

I'm back to myself.

[there's a nod.]

You're not the only one. Riku's at the dorm. Lux bought this week's set of documents from him, but I'm not sure what they are yet. [just a brief overview.]

I went back to look for you but Riku was there instead.

By Riku, you mean he remembers now?

week 4; friday

[Caleb will swing by Fall Dorm on Friday, wanting to check in on everyone. So he can run into Taichi there, or on the way back.]

[taichi is lingering outside, so when caleb approaches he at least gives him a grin despite the fact that he seems a little quiet.]

Hey. Knew you couldn't stay away from us for long. [hah.]

[Is own emotions are tense and frustrated, but there's a thrum of calm running through all of it.]

. . . No. I wanted to see how everyone was. I missed seeing everyone at curfew.

I can let you in and you can visit for a while with whoever's around. I think some of us are still here...and Futaba and Hope are on house arrest after yesterday.

[there's a spike of curiosity at the mention of curfew though.]

We missed you too though, believe it or not. [which is true. it was...weird, having people missing.] Was everything okay over at Winter?

week 5; monday

[Well, Caleb is out and about, parkouring around random buildings. But he will stop when he sees Taichi?]

. . . Hello there. How are you doing?

[caleb stops and taichi grins slightly, pleased to see him and even more pleased to be acknowledged, actually.]

Hey. Things are...betterish. [that's mostly honest, but he does seem a little less freaked out from the weekend.] How's it going?

[katzepaw]

[Aww, Taichi. Well. Caleb for once in his stupid life looks like he's in a pretty good mood? Giving him a smile.]

. . . Crazy to say it, but alright. Good, maybe? Thanks very much to you.

[let the critroles be happy! and for a moment he looks a little surprised, but then there's a look of understanding.]

...Beau told you? [haha. you know how dogs look when they're very tentatively hopeful that you're about to tell them they did something that's made you happy? that's about the look he's got going right now.]

week 6; friday

[Well, he's at fall for a lot of tonight anyway, so he will come talk to Taichi.]

. . . Aside from this, which is awful. How are you feeling?

[hello caleb. he looks in his general direction and sort of shrugs in return.]

I can't decide if I should be pissed off that I lost a bunch of days thinking I was supposed to stay here, or deeply disturbed about everything else that's happened in the last few days. How are you?

[katzepaw]

Ah. Wears off after Thursday?

[He hadn't realized that.]

. . . That's a tricky question. I was fond of both of them.

[goalsides]

Yeah. Friday morning specifically. It's happened with all of the others before, that's how I found most of them during the other weeks. My theory's been that whenever someone dies, the curse breaks. We just don't know it because we're all asleep.

[yeah he's back, hi.]

...but that makes two of us. Sakyou and I have stayed friends even after I swapped dorms, and Manwol's always been a good person to talk to about everything that's going on. I don't like the way this is looking for tomorrow.
